Baltimore First is the Center for Social Concern’s primary community engagement program offered during the academic year.

The Engaged Scholar Faculty & Community Partner Fellows Program is a cohort-based program housed at the Center for Social Concern that facilitates the development and implementation of mutually beneficial Community-Based Learning courses.

The Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project is an after-school tutoring program that provides academic support for elementary school students (grades 1-5). Elementary school tutees receive one-on-one tutoring in reading and math.

Hop Talks is a series that enhances the community’s understanding of complex political and social issues, develops participants’ ability to engage in constructive dialogue and discussion, and encourages participants to collaboratively develop strategies to address issues that are important to them, and consider how these issues may affect the campus community.

The Student Government Association is the primary representative body for Johns Hopkins Homewood campus undergraduates.
