New Student Orientation is a multi-day program for all new Blue Jays in August that will leave you feeling prepared and excited to begin your first year at Johns Hopkins.

Prior to participating in required New Student Orientation programming, incoming first-year students can sign up for an optional Pre-Orientation program. Pre-Orientation programs give new students the opportunity to connect with a small group of peers around a shared area of interest.

Gender and Sexuality Resources is the department within the Center for Diversity and Inclusion working to build an equitable and supportive Hopkins community for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Religious and Spiritual Life promotes and supports spiritual development, theological reflections, religious tolerance and social awareness among students, faculty, and staff within our Johns Hopkins community.

Hop-In is a five-week summer program that invites a cohort of incoming first-generation and limited-income/Pell-eligible (FLI) students to build community and experience academic and social life at Johns Hopkins University before the beginning of their fall semester.

The LaB is one of our innovative student spaces located in the Homewood Apartments Building. Students can relax in front of the water wall while taking in all of the featured artwork and items with a scientific motif.
