The FLI Network aims to improve and enhance the students’ experience for those who identify as first-generation, and/or limited-income (FLI) at Hopkins by cultivating a sense of belonging, inclusion, encouragement, and flourishing among FLI students, faculty, staff, alumni, and allies.

The Student Advisory Board functions as the advocate and listener for the FLI student community, aiming to enhance the Hopkins community. SAB consists of undergraduate students from the Krieger and Whiting schools who serve as ambassadors and help bridge the gap between the FLI Network professional staff and the FLI student community.

The FLI Network is currently recruiting SAB candidates for 2026. This is a paid opportunity for students able to commit up to 10 hours per month for one year. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of $1,500, to be paid in four installments.
