John Fox is an experienced higher education leader specializing in residence life, student affairs, and campus crisis management. He serves as a Project Manager for Student Transitions & Family Engagement (STFE) and supports initiatives in the Dean of Students office. In his STFE role, he leads family engagement initiatives including the Blue Jay Family Connection portal, fall move‑in engagement for families, and Family Weekend.
John holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Colorado State University and an M.A. in College Student Personnel. He has held leadership roles at the University of Arizona, the University of Denver, the University of Colorado Boulder, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His work focuses on building inclusive, academically connected residential communities, emergency management, family engagement, and data‑informed program development.
